Two Wildcats receive NECC honors

BOSTON, Mass. - Junior Milbrey Hendrix (Kennett Square, PA) and Senior Kate Needham (North Conway, NH) both received New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week honors for their respective performances last week.

Needham led the Wildcats to a fifth place finish, recording her personal best 5K time of 22:59, shaving close to a minute off of her time. Needham placed 28^th out of 83 harriers, topping her team with a 150 team score at the Blazer's Invitational.

Hendrix helped the Wildcats to their first victory, going 1-2 on the week. Hendrix notched an assist in a heart-breaking 2-1 loss to 2008 NECC Champs Becker. Milbrey was the high scorer in a 7-0 sweep of fellow NECC opponent Bay Path tallying two goals and one assist.
