Lady Hawks Glide Past Wheelock

Alexandra Fernandes (Tucson, Ariz) put the Hawks on the board when scored her seventh goal of the season, on a beautiful pass from freshman Caroline Plunkett (Rockaway, NY). Plunkett  then took a feed from Morgan Hazen (Woodstock, VT) for a breakaway goal, making the score 2-0.  The Hawks went up 3-0, when Catherine Millette scored on an indirect kick from 35 yards away. With nine seconds remaining in the first half, Catherine Millette scored on a breakaway for her second goal of the half.

Caroline Plunkett scored her eighth goal of the season, as the Hawks improved to 2-0 in the NECC. Shannon Tibbetts (Warren, Mass) earned her sixth win and fourth shutout of the season, as the Hawks improved to 6-4 overall.

Wheelock goalkeeper Allie Chiesa (Medford, Mass) made ten saves in the loss. Wheelock fell to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in the NECC.
