Boston, Mass. - Head coach Brooke Freeburg handed out awards to three student-athletes Sunday night. Elise Ordile received the Coach's Award, Sarah Brown received the Wildcat Award, and Sharrell Brown(not pictured) was named the Most Improved Player.

Wildcats fall on last second shot
Chestnut Hill, Mass. For the second time this season, the Wheelock womens basketball team fell in dramatic fashion, when Southern Vermonts Markeisha Mullen (Winsor Mill, MD) nailed a three pointer with two seconds remaining to give the Mountaineers a 66-64 win over the Wildcats Thursday night.

Hunts buzzer-beater lifts Bay Path over Wheelock
Chestnut Hill, Mass. Stunned. Thats the only word, really, to describe the Wheelock bench and crowd Saturday afternoon when Bay Path star Jessica Hunt (Madison, CT) found nothing-but-net on a half-court shot that lifted her team to a dramatic 69-67 NECC win over Wheelock at Pine Manor College.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Wildcat Kerry Casey (Medford, MA) notched her first double-double of the season, but Amanda Hevy hit three of her game high 24 points with 20 seconds remaining to lift the Anna Maria Amcats to a 58-56 win over Wheelock College Monday night.

Ordille leads charge for womens team
Elise Ordille (Waltham, MA) led the Wildcats with 9 points and 7 rebounds as teammate Sharrell Brown (Brooklyn, NY) also pulled down 7 rebounds in Tuesday nights loss against Eastern Nazarene College.

Battista leads the Wildcats
Freshman Jessica Battista (Johnston, R.I.) scored 9 points while Sarah Brown (Plainville, CT) added 7, but the Wildcat defense could do nothing to slow down the hot shooting of Johnson & Wales College, as Wheelock fell 99-37 in the season opener.

Womens basketball gets fresh start with new coach, new conference
Boston, Mass. The Wheelock womens basketball team is set to start the season on Monday night when the team hosts Johnson & Wales at Pine Manor College in the home opener.
