Ordile scores 12 as Wildcats fall to MCLA
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior Elise Ordile (Waltham, Mass.) scored a team-high 12 points and Sarah Brown (Plainville, Conn.), but the Massachesettes College of Liberal Arts offense was much too potent as Wheelock College fell 76-39 Monday night at Pine Manor College. (Right: Elise Ordile).
MCLA forced 21 Wheelock turnovers and nabbed 14 steals while recording eight blocks in the win. MCLA senior Laura Silverman (Ballston Spa, NY) led the Trailblazers with a season high of 15 points. Sophomore Jen Wehner (Cooperstown, NY) once again posted double figures finishing with 13. Freshman Lucy Tremblay (East Greenbush, NY) had a solid all around game notching 11 points and 8 assists. With the win MCLA improved to 8-1 while the Wildcats fell to 0-5.
Wheelock will return to action in the new year
on January 5th when they travel to Anna Maria College.
