Wheelock rally falls short
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. The Wheelock womens basketball team rallied from a 17 point deficit to within four, but the comeback fell short as the Wildcats fell to Becker College 55-49 Thursday night in New England Collegiate Conference action. The Hawks had three players in double-digits including junior Heidi Miller (Sanbornton, NH) who scored a team-high 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Wheelocks Keneisha Milton (Boston, Mass.) led the attack with 15 points and a game-high 18 boards.

Wheelock battles tough in loss to Eagles
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. The Wheelock Wildcats jumped out to the early lead Thursday night, but Daniel Webster held on for the 65-57 game Tuesday night at Pine Manor College. The win improves the Eagles to a perfect 12-0 in the New England Collegiate Conference and 17-4 overall. Wheelock falls to 4-16 and 2-8 in the NECC.

Wheelock boxes out win over visiting Bay Path
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. Three Wildcat players hit double digits Tuesday night as Wheelock College defeated Bay Path College 47-38 in New England Collegiate Conference action. Senior Elise Ordile (Waltham, Mass.) led all scores with 13 points, while fellow senior captains Sarah Brown (Plainville, Conn.) and Kerry Casey each netted ten points. The win improves Wheelocks record to 3-5 in the NECC and 4-13 overall, while Bay Path falls to 4-14 overall and 1-9 in the conference. Wheelock is currently tied with Newbury College for sixth place in the NECC.

NEW LONDON, Conn. The Mitchell College womens basketball team used a strong second half to notch its third straight victory, 66-50, over Wheelock College on Saturday afternoon at the Yarnall Athletic Center.

Strong second half propels Blazers past Wildcats
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. Wheelock College(3-11, 2-3 NECC) trailed by only five at the half, but Elms College (6-10, 5-2 NECC) came out on fire in the second half to walk away with a 73-53 win Tuesday night at Pine Manor College. Wheelock was led by freshman Keneisha Milton (Boston, Mass.), who pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds and senior Sarah Brown (Plainville, Conn.), who scored 18 points on the night. Wheelock women lose bid for third consecutive win
LEICESTER, Mass - Senior guard Sarah Brown scored the 1,000th point of her career and teammates Elise Ordile and Keneisha Milton had career nights, but the Wheelock Wildcats fell to Becker College 79-64 Tuesday night in NECC action. Holiday leads Wildcats to second straight win
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- After a shaky start to the season, the Wheelock Wildcats posted back-to-back wins this week, defeating Southern Vermont College 65-42 Saturday afternoon at Pine Manor College. The win improves Wheelocks record to 2-9 overall and 1-1 in the New England Collegiate Conference, while Southern Vermont College falls to 1-11 on the season and 0-5 in NECC play. Brown heats up in Wildcat loss
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. Wheelock Senior captain Sarah Brown (Plainville, Conn.) scored a season and game-high 17 points and fellow captain Elise Ordile (Waltham, Mass.) netted a double-double, but Mount Ida proved too much down the stretch as the Wildcats fell to the Mustangs 57-51 at Pine Manor College on Monday night. Drescher stars in Wildcat loss
PAXTON, Mass. Kayla Drescher (Wallingford, Conn.) was the star for Wheelock Tuesday night, scoring nine points and grabbing 11 rebounds, but the Wildcats fell to Anna Maria College 52-31 in the first game of the new year. Anna Maria was paced by Samantha Ashtons 16 points, 13 rebounds, five blocks four assists, and four 3-pointers, to improve the AMCATS to 7-4 overall, while Wheelock drops to 0-6.

Holliday scores 15 in season opener
Wheelock guard Joy Holliday scored a team-high 15 points, but she was the only Wildcat in double-digits as the Wildcats fell to the United States Coast Guard Academy 54-34 Tuesday night. The Bears were led by Melissa Martinelli who scored a game-high 24 points, going 10-14 from the field and pulling down 11 boards.
