Battista leads the Wildcats

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Freshman Jessica Battista (Johnston, R.I.) scored 9 points while Sarah Brown (Plainville, CT) added 7, but the Wildcat defense could do nothing to slow down the hot shooting of Johnson & Wales College, as Wheelock fell 99-37 in the season opener. 
 
Kerry Casey led Wheelock in rebounds, with 7, while Elise Ordille scored 6 points and had 6 boards. Wheelock travels to New York  for the SUNY Plattsburgh Tip-off.
