Tennis award winners named
Boston, Mass. - Head coach Marty Morrissey handed out awards to three student-athletes Sunday night. Kate Needham received the Coach's Award, Wilson Chang received the Wildcat Award, and Bobby Venning was named the Most Improved Player.

Chang and Venning battle strong in final regular season match
Boston, Mass. – Wilson Chang (Lee, MA) won his number one singles battle for the third match in a row and Bobby Venning (Greenfield, NH) took the number two singles spot as Wheelock fell to Lesley University 5-4 in the final regular season tennis match Thursday evening.

2009 New England Collegiate Conference Men’s Tennis Championships
Brookline, Mass. - The 2009 NECC Men's Tennis Championships will be hosted by Newbury College on Saturday and Sunday May 2 and 3 at Pine Manor College.

Tennis wins top three spots, but eventually falls to Becker
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Wheelock College took the top three wins in Saturday’s tennis match with Becker College, but dropped two matches and forfeited two more to fall 6-3 to the Hawks in NECC action.

Wheelock falls to Mitchell in tennis double-header
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Mitchell College men’s tennis team picked up two more NECC victories today against Wheelock College in a doubleheader bringing their overall record to 8-0 and their NECC record to 6-0. Kyle Carmona (Norwich, Conn.) won both of his #1 singles matches today, and he paired with Dan Dworetsky (Glastonbury, Conn.) at the number #1 doubles slot in both matches for wins.

PAXTON, Mass. - Wheelock tennis players Wilson Chang (Lee, MA) and Anya Pagala (Garnerville, NY) won their respective singles matches, but the Wildcats fell to Anna Maria 8-2 Monday evening.

Chang, Venning, win in doubles, Wildcats fall to Newbury
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Wheelock sophomore Wilson Chang and freshman Bobby Venning won the first doubles competition of the season, but it wasn’t quite enough as the Wildcats fell to Newbury 6-1 Tuesday afternoon in conference play.
