Tennis wins top three spots, but eventually falls to Becker

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Wheelock College took the top three wins in Saturday's tennis match with Becker College, but dropped two matches and forfeited two more to fall 6-3 to the Hawks in NECC action.
Wilson Chang (Lee, MA) defeated Charles Heard 6-4, 6-1 to take the number one singles match for the Wildcats while Wheelock freshman Bobby Venning (Greensfield, NH) took the number two singles match over Snaz Telebak 6-3, 6-3. In the number three spot, Kate Needham (North Conway, NH) defeated Becker's Tim Howard by retirement.
Becker's Jake Gilbert won the number five spot, and Wheelock was forced to forfeit number six singles.
In doubles, it was Heard and Telebak teaming up to win number one doubles, while Clewer and Howard took the number two singles.
