Men’s soccer receives sportsmanship award

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Wheelock men’s soccer team, led by head coach Sercan Fenerci, were honored as the 2009 NECC Team Sportsmanship Award recipients. Goalkeeper Victor Kashouh (Providence, RI) received All-Conference honorable mention for his performance this season. In his first season playing the sport, Kashouh led the conference in saves, with 164 in 11 games, averaging almost 15 per contest. The sophomore made history in his first game, when he recorded 29 saves against Suffolk University which ties him for 15th all-time in NCAA Division III men’s soccer. [FULL STORY]
