The game will feature many stars who have garnered All-America status as well as All-Region, All-Conference, and Conference Player of the Year honors. Adam Choice of Colby participated in the NABC Division III All-Star game and was selected as an NABC and d3hoops.com All-American. He will be joined by Terrell Hollins of Brandeis, an NABC All-Star game participant, and conference MVP’s Aaron Trigg of Gordon College, Juan Maldonado of Elms College, and Rui Carmo of Green Mountain College. Many of the participants will continue their basketball careers professionally overseas. The rosters were selected by several committees made up of area college coaches and are being released by Stephen Brennan, the NEBCA President.
The teams will play at Staake Gymnasium on the campus of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts this Sunday, April 18 at 1:00pm. Admission into the game is free.
Robbins selected for New England All-Star Game
BABSON PARK, Mass.- Senior Wheelock College basketball star Sherard Robbins (Malden, Mass.) has been selected by the the New England Basketball Coaches Association (NEBCA) to participate in their annual Division III Senior All-Star Game this Sunday, April 18, at Babson College, with all proceeds benefitting the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign.
Robbins is coming off another incredible season, leading his
team to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Final Four for
the second year in a row. The 6’5” center averaged 17.4
points and ten rebounds per game as the Wildcats finished with a
16-11 record in only the third year of the program.
