Boston, Mass. - Head coach John Preziosa handed out awards to three student-athletes Sunday night. Kyle Pierce received the Coach's Award, Sherard Robbins received the Wildcat Award, and Dan Main was named the Most Improved Player.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. The Wheelock College mens basketball team survived a tremendous second half from Mitchell College to advance to the second round of the New England Collegiate Conference playoffs with a 105-91 win over the Mariners in front of a packed house at Pine Manor College Tuesday night.

Boston, Mass. - Eleven different players scored and four more hit double-digits as Wheelock defeated Newbury College 79-61 Thursday evening. The win moves the Wildcats to an even 3-3 in conference play, with a chance to go above .500 heading into tonights contest against Lesley University.

Thursday nights mens basketball game between Wheelock College and Lesley University was dedicated to the memory of student-athlete Alexander Lex Rothman, who passed away over the weekend, and the Wildcats played inspired basketball, defeating the Lynx 78-53 in front of a packed gym.

Mens Basketball team makes history; posts first win at home over Anna Maria
Chestnut Hill, Mass. Sherard Robbins (Malden, MA) scored 23 points and pulled down 12 boards to lead the Wheelock Wildcats to a 67-53 win over Anna Maria College in Tuesday nights home opener. Anna Maria jumped out to the early lead, taking a 5-0 lead on a three pointer by Henry Rose (Coventry, RI) less than a minute into the game.
