Boston, Mass. - Head coach John Preziosa handed out awards to three student-athletes Sunday night. Kyle Pierce received the Coach's Award, Sherard Robbins received the Wildcat Award, and Dan Main was named the Most Improved Player.

Junior guard Juan Galdon (Holyoke, MA) dropped in a game-high 26 points and Elms College used a key run late in the first half en route to a 94-74 win over Wheelock College in Friday night's first semifinal.

Wheelock outlasts Mitchell in shootout, advances to NECC semi-finals
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The Wheelock College men’s basketball team survived a tremendous second half from Mitchell College to advance to the second round of the New England Collegiate Conference playoffs with a 105-91 win over the Mariners in front of a packed house at Pine Manor College Tuesday night.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – In only the second year of existence, the Wheelock men’s basketball team not only earned a trip to the playoffs, but put together a .500 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) record with a hard-fought 74-68 win over Mitchell College.

Men down Newbury in conference play
Boston, Mass. - Eleven different players scored and four more hit double-digits as Wheelock defeated Newbury College 79-61 Thursday evening. The win moves the Wildcats to an even 3-3 in conference play, with a chance to go above .500 heading into tonight’s contest against Lesley University.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Thursday night’s men’s basketball game between Wheelock College and Lesley University was dedicated to the memory of student-athlete Alexander “Lex” Rothman, who passed away over the weekend, and the Wildcats played inspired basketball, defeating the Lynx 78-53 in front of a packed gym.

BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Wheelock College men's basketball team didn't win a national championship on Saturday against host Southern Vermont, but you wouldn't have known the difference by the way the Wildcats celebrated following their 80-75 victory.

Men’s Basketball team makes history; posts first win at home over Anna Maria
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Sherard Robbins (Malden, MA) scored 23 points and pulled down 12 boards to lead the Wheelock Wildcats to a 67-53 win over Anna Maria College in Tuesday night’s home opener. Anna Maria jumped out to the early lead, taking a 5-0 lead on a three pointer by Henry Rose (Coventry, RI) less than a minute into the game.
