Second week of preseason begins, regular season on horizon
BOSTON, MA - The second week of fall preseason for Wheelock College's student-athletes is underway, while each of the five teams' regular seasons kick off during Labor Day weekend. After reporting on Sunday, Aug. 22, and training during a rainy week of practice, the squads partook in a kayaking excursion on Friday in Newton.
Men's and women's cross country begin Wheelock's fall slates on Saturday with a morning meet against Emmanuel College, while men's soccer hosts Regis College at 2:30 p.m. Field hockey heads to Western Connecticut State University on Sunday for a 12 p.m. contest, while men's and women's soccer both host Benedictine (Ill.) University on Monday at 11 a.m.
