Sean Duke-Crocker joins Wheelock this year as the Head Men’s tennis coach. He is no stranger to Wheelock as he served this winter as the Assistant men’s basketball coach. Duke-Crocker came to Wheelock from Tufts University after serving there as the assistant men’s basketball coach for the past 2 seasons.
Prior to Tufts he was the associate head basketball coach at
Framingham state college for 2 seasons. With his help the Rams set
team records for scoring and steals over the two seasons. He also
recruited many of the players that helped lead Framingham to
back-to-back ECAC appearances the last 2 years. Prior to Framingham
he was a graduate assistant at Tufts. In his 2 seasons he was the
lead recruiter and helped Tufts go from 8-17 to 16-10 and to their
best finish over all in the NESCAC conference. He recruited two
1000-point scorers and a core of the team that went to the sweet 16
in the 2005-06 season. Duke-Crocker is a 2003 graduate of
Connecticut College, where he was a 1 year member of the
men’s tennis team and a 4 year member of the men’s
basketball staff.
