Megan Lachman joins the Wildcats Sports Medicine staff as an Assistant Trainer.
She has gained experience on both the college and high school level prior to arrival at the Riverway. Lachman has spent time as part of the athletic training staffs at Walpole, Stoughton and Norwood High School as well as Beaumont High School in Ohio. She has worked with various teams at the college level as well, including Stonehill College and Notre Dame College in Ohio.
Lachman's knowledge in the field of sports medicine is extensive. She earned a Bachelors Degree in exercise science with a concentration in pre-physical therapy from University of Dayton and received a Masters Degree in athletic training from Bridgewater State College as well. She has also served as a Teaching Assistant to convey her knowledge in upper and lower extremity anatomy and how to conduct proper evaluations. She is well-versed in youth eating disorders and recovery from concussions and has served as a presenter on both topics at multiple symposiums and conventions.
The Ohio native is BOC, CPR/AED and First Aid Responder certified and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Eastern Athletic Trainers Association, Athletic Trainers of Massachusetts, National Strength and Conditioning Association and is the Vice President of Athletic Training Club.
