Visiting Athletic Trainers

Dear Certified Athletic Trainer,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your team to Wheelock College in Boston. The athletic training room will be open approximately one hour and 15 minutes prior to each event. We currently have hydrocollator packs, a whirlpool, ice, electric stimulation, and ultrasound modality units available. There will be a certified athletic trainer available to assist you at all times.

If your team is traveling with a certified athletic trainer, our facilities and modalities will be available for your use. However, if you are not sending an athletic trainer, or you are sending a student, we ask that you send a prescription from either an ATC or a team physician. We will also perform any taping that is required, but please provide all needed supplies (Wheelock College will not provide any supplies needed for taping/bracing).

During the game or match, ice, water, water bottles, splints, crutches, an AED and ice bags will be available for your use. Directions are available in the athletic training room upon request.
