Robbins makes history

BOSTON, Mass. - Sherard Robbins dropped a lay-up over three Southern Vermont defenders with 9:12 remaining in the second half of Saturday's game to give the Wildcats a two point advantage, and put himself in the Wheelock record books. The basket gave Robbins his 1,000th point as a Wildcat, a feat he achieved in only two and a half seasons of play.

Robbins finished the game with 17 rebounds and 13 points as Wheelock defeated the Mountaineers 64-62 in a crucial New England Collegiate Conference game Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Wildcats mark to 2-1 in the NECC and 9-4 overall.
