Despina Savvoulides, field hockey

Junior Despina Savvoulides (Norwalk, CT) registered a pair of goals in two matches last week for the Wheelock College field hockey squad.  Her tally with just 3:42 left to play at Eastern Connecticut State University on September 13 was the 24th of her career to make her the program's career leader in goals scored.  The forward gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead with her third goal of the year at the 40:46 mark of the first half vs. Lasell College on September 15.  She finished with four points for the week.
