Nicole Perullo, softball

Junior Nicole Perullo (Revere, MA/Revere) led the Wildcats to a 2-2 mark during their first week of the season, batting .462 with nine RBI, five runs, two home runs and a pair of doubles during doubleheader splits with Mount Ida College on Friday and Bay Path College on Sunday. In addition to swatting her first collegiate homers, Perullo pitched Wheelock to one of its wins, striking out five during a complete-game victory against the Wildcats.
