Julie Kilcoyne, field hockey
Senior Julie Kilcoyne (Sterling, MA/Wachusett Regional) became the first Wheelock College field hockey player in three years to earn a second career National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad laurel and was one of 11 Wildcats honored after carrying a minimum cumulative 3.30 grade-point average through the 2010 fall semester. Kilcoyne, who was also twice a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference qualifier and a 2009 all-league first team pick, played an integral role in Wheelock advancing to at least the NECC Tournament semifinals each of the past three seasons. She started 15 of 16 games during her senior year, her third as a captain, and finished with 22 points in 70 career contests.
