Max Kaim, men's basketball

Junior Max Kaim (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Cypress Bay) averaged 14.3 points while helping Wheelock go 2-1 last week, as the 5-foot-9 guard shot 62.1 percent from the field - including 66.7 percent from two-point range - while adding 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He also went 7-of-9 on free throws. Kaim recorded 13 points and three assists at Lesley University on Tuesday before notching 10 points against two-time defending New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Tournament champion Elms College on Thursday. While turning in a 9-of-11 shooting effort against Mitchell College on Saturday, Kaim finished with a season-high 20 points.
