Despina Savvoulides, field hockey

Sophomore Despina Savvoulides (Norwalk, CT/Norwalk) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week for the second time in four weeks, earning the accolade for the week ending on Sunday, Oct. 17. She also landed on the womensfieldhockey.com weekly honor roll. Savvoulides was among nine Division III players recognized by womensfieldhockey.com, and one of three from New England. She helped the Wildcats go 2-0 and move within one half game of first-place Daniel Webster College in the NECC last week, scoring in each contest.
