Hometown: Wareham, MA Do you go to a lot of Cape League Baseball games? Nope. No interest at all in seeing the Gatemen play? Uh, they like practice behind my middle school and we'll walk past them, but we don't go.

Major: Early Childhood, Developmental Psych and Autism. What made you want to select that as a major? I've always liked working with young children since I could remember. I worked in a classroom when I was in sixth grade over the summer with children, who are autistic and I've loved it since I've always done it. What's your career intention? To have a classroom with three to five-year olds, who are severely autistic.
Nickname: I have a couple. I have one that's Gabrizelle because in high school I ran track and I was tall and fast so my friend came up with the name Gabrizelle. That's pretty creative. Gabby's the main one.
What do you like most about Wheelock? I like the small class sizes. You get to know the people and the teachers well.
Where is your favorite place on campus? Probably the hockey field.
What is your favorite sports team? The Red Sox. How long have you been a Red Sox fan? Since I was born. Like everyone else in New England.
Who is your favorite athlete? Probably Michelle Kwan. I was really into ice skating and stuff when I was younger. How long have you been watching skating? I'd watch Olympics and then I'd watch it whenever it was on TV. Do you skate yourself? Yeah. Figure skating? For fun. I used to take lessons, though.
What is something that most people don’t know about you? I was an extra in an Adam Sandler movie. What movie? It's called, "I Hate you Dad". It's not out yet. It should be out in June. Where did they film? In Brockton. We were called because my family's Jewish and my Rabbi sent out an email and we responded and they called us back.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? The Beach. Anywhere where there's a beach. How far away do you live from the beach? 10 minutes.
What accomplishment are you most proud of in your sport? Probably playing on the team this year, because at my old school I didn't, but I did here. So, I'm proud that I actually did it. When you say your old school, do you mean high school or college? College. Where did you go before here? University of Maine-Farmington.
What is your favorite holiday? I think Hanukkah. Why Hanukkah? Because it's December and my birthday is around that time, so sometimes it falls on my birthday. I like the meaning behind it, because everyone thinks it's like a present holiday, but it's really not that big of a deal. I just like the concept.
Bacon bits or croutons? Neither. Do you put anything on your salad? Not usually. Do you like salad? Yeah.
Would you rather live in a log cabin or downtown? That's a rough question. I would say downtown, because I like having something to do, but I'd also like a log cabin, because I like to escape and be by myself at the same time.
What does community service mean to you? It means helping others and just making a difference. It's been part of my life since I was born almost. In the Jewish religion, you're taught with like Mitzvah, which is just like doing something to help someone else. It's always been my passion and I've always done it. I just love it. Do you have a favorite community service project that you've done in the past? I think working on the AIDS project that we have on campus, because it affects everyone. It wasn't until we were told that there were individuals on campus that were affected in it in the past. There's someone in the theater that's on the quilt somewhere. That's the first one that I've done since I've been here.
Do you have any pets? I have a cat and a dog. What kind of cat do you have? It's a short-haired cat. What's the cat's name? Matukah. Is it a boy or a girl? It's a boy. How long have you had him? I've had him since seventh grade. Where's the name Matukah come from? Oh, wait. The cat's name is Sampson. Sampson? How do you mess up Sampson and Matukah? How do you that mixed up? Because I was thinking of my dog. We got the name Matukah for my dog, because it means "sweet" in Hebrew and my Mom liked the name. We rescued the dog from the road. So, it's just a stray that you found? Yeah. What kind of a dog is it? It's a beagle. Is the dog a boy or a girl? It's a girl. A girl named Matukah and the boy is Sampson named after the mythical figure? Yeah. Now, we have our animals straight.
What is your favorite movie or movies? I don't really have a favorite, but if I had to pick it would probably be either like "Princess Diaries" or "Blaze of Glory". Why those? I don't know.
What is your favorite artist or band? I don't have one. Do you not like music? No, I do. I'll listen to anything, but like heavy metal. Just no favorite in particular.
Favorite pre-game song to get pumped up? Before I come to
the locker room, I love listening to "Fly" by Rihanna and someone
or I'll listen to Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness".
Pepsi or Coke? Neither. Just not a soda person? What do you drink instead? I like water. Just water? Bottled or tap? Brita. So, filtered tap. Yeah.
Favorite Cereal? I don't really have a favorite cereal. I'm not a big cereal fan. What do you like for breakfast? I like yogurt. What's your favorite? I like strawberry or vanilla.
What is your favorite city or town? It's a three-way tie for that. I would say Farmington, Maine. I like it because it was a really pretty landscape and area. Another place would be High Falls, New York, because that's where I work for the summer and it's just so pretty. When you think of New York, you think of the city, but you don't think of the not the city part of New York, which is like really pretty to be in a part of New York that nobody really thinks of. The Cape. The ocean. Every summer, I like the smell of the ocean. Where is High Falls, New York? It's near Woodstock. So, central, not quite upstate? Yeah. What brought you there, what kind of work? A summer camp working with children with special needs. Was that the first time you did that? It's going to be my third time.
What is your favorite ice cream? Either mint chocolate chip or chocolate and like homemade places. Where do you get it from? My Mom's friend lives in Sharon and there's a place called Crescent Ridge near there and they make it and it's amazing.
How many foreign countries have you been to? Does Canada
count? Canada counts, it's official.

Canada? Montreal. How many times have
you been there? I've been there once.
When was that? Eight years ago.
Was it like a family vacation? It was a trip
with my Rabbi and we went visiting the Holocaust Museum and we went
shopping in like this underground mall. We went with another
youth group.
If it could rain something other than rain, what would it rain? Peace.
Who is your favorite Sesame Street character? Elmo. Why Elmo? He was just always my favorite when I was watching it.
Hats or no hats? Depends on the weather outside. Give me an example of when you would want to wear a hat? I'll wear a hat if like it's really cold out or I just feel like having something on top of my head or it's like a Red Sox game.
Morning or night? Both. Explain. When I'm up, I'm up and I like waking up early, but also I'm a late night person and I'll stay up late.
Peanut Butter: Crunchy or creamy? I guess I'd say creamy. Why creamy? Because I like the natural kind. I've only had the creamy. I've wanted to try the natural kind, but I'm freaked out by the liquid on the top of it. I only have it, because that's all my Mom will buy now. She stopped with like the other kind because it's all hydrogenated oil and it's bad for you. What's it like to spread that stuff on? I only eat it with apples. I'm not a big peanut butter person.
Favorite Season? Summer and Winter. Why Summer? Because the new change and you're done with the school and you have a break. It's like a nice change of season and atmosphere. I like the Winter because I love skating and I love snow, so I like the drastic change of seasons.
Who's your favorite Family Guy character? I
don't have one. Do you watch the show at
all? I watch it with my roommate, but I'm not really
into it. What's your favorite TV show, do you have
any? Not really. What do you choose to
do instead? I usually end up doing homework, I
don't usually have time. Do you read books or
anything like that? I read mainly in the summertime,
when I have more time to do whatever I want. Now, I'd just
rather concentrate on my studies. What kind of
books do you read? I like fantasy.
